Tequila Slammer

Dry January is officially behind us - if you made it all the way through to the 31st booze-free then congratulations! You may be in the mood for a celebratory cocktail to reward your efforts, and nothing says celebratory like a Tequila Slammer.

Sparkling Cocktails 

25 ml/1 oz tequila

15 ml/1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice 1 teaspoon sugar syrup

Well-chilled Cava or other dry sparkling wine, to top

Lime wedge, to garnish

MAKES 1

 

Pour the first three ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass and top with Cava. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
