Great introduction to vegan food

As a vegetarian who likes to cook (a lot!) but who dabbles with veganism, I was interested to see what this book had to offer. It is broken down into the usual sections of breakfasts, small dishes, mains, desserts etc with a good representation of ideas in each. The recipes are easy to follow and don't rely on meat-substitute products or overly-rely on coconut milk (my bugbear about many vegan cookbooks). It was nice to see that cuisines from around the world were represented, without making the ingredients too difficult to source. My favourite ideas from the book were the wide range of dressings and sauces, which allow you to create your own combinations and experiment a little. The authors perfectly capture the idea that veganism shouldn't be 'worthy' and therefore the food dull, the recipes are bright, vibrant and flavoursome. A good introduction to how tasty vegan food can be!
